PURPOSE: To provide a garbage treating device which utilizes the waste heat of generated gases. CONSTITUTION: A deodorizing device 17 which decomposes the odorous components of the gases generated at the time of fermentation decomposition of garbage has high-temp catalysts 18 heated by a heater 19 and the waste heat thereof is sent to a fermentation tank 3, by which this fermentation tank 3 is heated. The generated gases are again sent by circulating air paths 16, 23 to a deodorizing device 17. The temp. control of the gases is executed by taking the outdoor air from an air intake port 21. Then, the temp. in the tank is made uniform by heating the fermentation tank with hot air and, therefore, the efficient fermentation is effected. |
