PURPOSE: To provide the manufacture of plate for battery, which can excellently and easily eliminate the active material of a collecting tub fitting part of a three-dimensional substrate filled with the active material. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic vibration horn 30 is pushed to at least one surface of the predetermined part of a three-dimensional porous substrate 10 filled with the active material so as to eliminate the active material of the predetermined part, and a collecting tub is welded to the predetermined part, in which the active material of the three-dimensional porous substrate is eliminated. In this manufacture of the plate for battery, the ultrasonic vibration horn 30 is provided with a high-pressure fluid injection hole 40 so as to crush the active material with the ultrasonic vibration, and the crushed active material is eliminated by injecting the high-pressure fluid from the injection hole 40. The active material is thereby securely eliminated by injecting the high-pressure fluid so as to eliminate the active material, which is crushed by the ultrasonic vibration, and welding of the collecting tub in the following process is performed well. |
