PURPOSE: To provide a Z-buffer system hidden-surface removal device whereby the lightness of the sun between the clouds is obtained and it is judged whether or not two surfaces cross each other. CONSTITUTION: An input/output part 1 inputting Z data, an address and counter data from the outside and outputting counter data, Z data and a writing control signal to the outside, a Z-buffer part 2 where Z data is read/written by a given Z buffer address and a Z-buffer part control signal, a Z arithmetic circuit part 6 inputting a Z value and outputting the written control signal and a Z arithmetic result, a counter part 3 counting the number of Z dat where the result of the Z arithmetic circuit part 6 meets a previously given condition within dat inputted to the Z arithmetic circuit part 6, a data number counter 4 controlled from the Z arithmetic circuit part 6 by a counter control signal and a Z counter 5 controlled from the Z arithmetic circuit part 6 by the counter control signal are arranged. |
