METHOD FOR MAKING THIN-FILMED COATING

FIELD: optical coatings. SUBSTANCE: method for making thin-filmed coatings includes heating substrate, precipitation of one layer of film-generating material on the substrate by vapor condensing and cooling the substrate. The substrate is heated up to the temperature not exceeding temperature of damaging and changing the structure of substrate material and previous layers too when making each coating layer. Then the layer is cooled at 0.3 - 2 C/s rate preferentially up to 50 - 100 C. The layer is precipitated at 0.5 - 3 nm/s rate onto the substrate being cooled within the temperature range with upper limit equal to critical temperature of condensation of the material being precipitated. Lower limit is the temperature ranging within 150 to 200 C. EFFECT: coating with minimum radiation absorbing and scattering.
