<p>PURPOSE: To change the contents of the method of control in accordance with a situation, and to flexibly deal with the change of a network condition or a traffic condition by sorting and distributing the control among independent virtual path(VP) capacity control element device groups. CONSTITUTION: A quality judging device 21, a necessary zone calculating device 22, an increased quantity calculating device 23, a decrease designing device 24, and a storage designing device 25 are provided, and each of these is connected to a data base 14. The quality judging device 21 is connected to the necessary zone calculating device 22, and the necessary zone calculating device 22 is connected to the increased quantity calculating device 23 and the decrease designing device 24, and the increased quantity calculating device 23 and the decrease designing device 24 are connected to the storage designing device 25. Thus, in the case where VP capacity control becomes not to function effectively because of the change of the network condition or the traffic condition, only the element device not functioning effectively needs to be changed. Accordingly, the change of the network condition or the traffic condition of an ATM network can be dealt with flexibly by the selection of the proper element.</p> |
