The system for deploying or retracting two elements linked by a hinge is also able to lock or unlock the elements in their deployed position. The system includes a locking cam (4) which is mounted on a shaft (5) associated with a first element (2). A drive mechanism (9) is available to be applied against the face (8) of the second element. The drive mechanism (9) is motorised, forcing the rotation of the two elements about their hinge axis. A motor (9A) has its axis of rotation (17) parallel to the axes (10,11) of the cam and of the shaft. A transmission (18) links the motor to the shaft, and a radial link (19) is mounted solidly w.r.t. rotation about the motor, in order to force the second element about is axis of rotation. <IMAGE> |
