FIELD: crawling insect control devices which may be positioned in houses and enterprises, may be also used for mice catching. SUBSTANCE: cockroach trap uses current of normally operating power-supply system. Current stuns insect, which inevitably falls onto trap bottom covered with toxic insect killing substance. Trap is constructed such that insect cannot get out of trap. Trap works in "normally off" mode of operation, i.e. in this case current flows the moment the insect traverses space between electrodes. Circuit has resistor for restricting short-circuit current. EFFECT: simplified electric circuit and construction of trap, reduced power consumption, safe usage, minimized voltage drops, simplified observation and care, reduced consumption of bait and decreased usage of material, wider operational capabilities. 5 cl, 2 dwg |
