FIELD: methods to produce hydroxyl-bearing ethers, that are used in formulae of rigid polyurethane foams. SUBSTANCE: aim is to simplify process and to improve its ecological conditions. Aim is realized due to addition of alkyleneoxide to proton-bearing compounds in presence of alkaline catalyst with following its neutralization using small excess of organic acid. At stage of neutralization glacial acetic acid is used as organic acid and main stabilizer is additionally introduced in amount sufficient for the acid surpluss binding. As main stabilizer it is advantageous to use 6-ethoxy-2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline. EFFECT: simplified process, improved ecological conditions of process. |
