An appts. recovers vapour consisting of a mixt. of chemical cmpds. The appts. comprises a first cold trap including a cryosurface connected to a first low temp. refrigerant source, and a second cold trap with a cryosurface connected to a second lower temp. refrigerant source. A vapour conduit interconnects the cold traps to carry vapour from the first to the second. A condensate conduit is connected to the lower end of the first trap for conveying condensate to the second trap.
