<p>The object of the present invention is to achieve a wheel chair lift to be used in stairs, said lift being equipped with a vertically adjustable loading platform (2). The platform is hanging in four ropes or bands (3) from a waggon (1) drivable along a rail (4). The loading platform (2) is designed as a case provided with two fixed sides and two in the direction of travel turnable sides (5) in order to make it possible for the person tied to his wheel chair to roll on and off the platform himself when the platform has stopped on a landing. The turnable sides (5) are turned up as soon as the bands (3) are stretched up when the loading platform (2) is lifted thereby forming an obstacle to the wheel chair to roll off the platform during the transportation. After the lift has been used the person tied to his wheel chair hoists the platform (2) against the waggon (1) and hides the waggon which is possible by way of the bands (3) in which the platform is hanging are extending in pairs over breaking rolls (11, 12) journalled in a yoke mounted under the waggon (1) and provided with articulated arms (8).</p> |
