The invention relates to compositions containing an aromatic polyamide (nylon) which is soluble in organic solvents and from 0.01 to 30 % by weight, based on the weight of the composition, of organic or of organometallic charge-control agents. The compositions can be employed for the production of shaped structures, in particular fibres; these fibres are preferably employed for the production of nonwovens which can be used for the production of dust filters.
