The invention provides for an oscillator circuit (30) having an amplifier (32) and a feedback loop (34) which multiplies a generated signal by appropriate selection of capacitance (C1, C2, Co) ratios in the feedback loop (34). In order to isolate this multiplied, high voltage signal, a voltage divider (C1, C2) is used to isolate the high voltage portion from the input (36) and output (38) (I/O) of an integrated circuit oscillator core (32). The multiplied voltage creates a high voltage signal suitable for stylus signal transmission. The divided, and relatively low, voltage is used in the feedback path (34) to stabilize the operation of the oscillator core (32). <IMAGE> |
