PURPOSE:To attach a ring gear and a lens carriage at a reference position by constituting a mechanism so that the attaching position of a rack which meshes with a pinion gear coaxial to a gear and is attached to the lens carriage can be adjusted. CONSTITUTION:This mechanism is provided with the pinion gear 14 coaxial to the gear 13, the lens carriage rack 16 which meshes with the pinion gear 14 and moves the lens carriage 12 forward and backward along a supporting shaft 15, a lens guide 17 which guides the fixed focusing lens 3 of the lens carriage 12 along a guide groove 17a, and a spring 18 which energizes in a direction where the ring gear 2 comes in contact with a polygonal cam 1. In the case that the meshing of the gear 13 is bad because of the dispersion of parts, etc., when the optical variable power mechanism is assembled, the mechanism can comply with the bad condition by adjusting the attaching position of the rack, because the attaching position of the rack to the lens carriage 12 can be adjusted. Thus, the lens carriage and a rocking link are attached to the reference position. |
