PURPOSE: To sufficiently hold a strength for supporting articles, completely protect the articles by cushioning, and compactly package the articles by a method wherein the articles are fixed along inclined surfaces and contained so as to be laid over a trough part between the inclined surfaces. CONSTITUTION: A packaging structure for a cock is composed of a case box, a holding base 2 inserted into the case box for fixing or placing a cock, its fittings, and other articles, a protective cover 3 to be put over the holding base 2, and a setting plate 4 disposed downward of the protective cover 3. The holding base 2 is made of a sheet of plate material and incorporated in the case box for use by being folded to have an approximately M shape or at least two ridges in cross section. Holding holes 2e, 2f, 2g, 2h, and the like each permitting a part of the article to be fitted into are formed in inclined surfaces of the holding base 2. In this manner, concentration of a load is prevented, the holding base 2 is improved in shape retention properties, and the articles are stably fixed. |
