<p>PURPOSE: To feed or discharge tab paper in an appropriate direction so as to be able to prepare photocopied material with tab paper inserted, easily and efficiently. CONSTITUTION: The control panel of a copying machine body 1 is provided with a tab paper insertion mode setting key. In a tab paper insertion mode, when a document conveyed by an automatic document conveyor device is a document in a tab paper insert position, tab paper enclosed in the paper feeding trays 61-63 of a paper feeding device 6, with tabs facing the rear side in a conveying direction is fed to an image forming device 4. The tab paper passing through a photoconductor drum 41, a conveying part 47 and a fixing part 48 is switched back in the conveyed direction by a conveying path switching part 49 so as to be longitudinally reversed, and discharged to a paper handling device 7. At the time of feeding paper, the tab of the tab paper is placed on the rear side in the conveying direction, and at the time of discharge, the tab of the tab paper is placed on the front side in the conveying direction. The tab does not therefore become a hindrance to tip alignment at the time of feeding paper, rear end alignment at the time of discharge, and the like.</p> |
