<p>PURPOSE: To lower running cost and to improve the removal rate of NOx and SOx by providing an exhaust gas discharged from a combustion engine and a discharge treating means into which the exhaust gas is introduced each with a spraying means for spraying magnesium oxide powder or slurry. CONSTITUTION: A device consists of a discharge treating device 2 for oxidizing or reducing exhaust gas 1a discharged from a combustion engine by using discharge plasma 1a, a high voltage power source 3 for generating, for example, corona discharge in the discharge treating device 2, a scrubber 4 for subjecting the exhaust gas oxidized or reduced by the discharge treating device 2 to post- treatment, and a stack 7 for discharging the exhaust gas made harmless. The exhaust gas 1a discharged from the combustion engine 1 and the discharge treating device 2 into which the exhaust gas is introduced are provided with spraying means 5, 6 for spraying magnesium oxide powder or slurry respectively. As the powder or slurry, the fine one of <=120μm particle diameter is preferably used.</p> |
