PURPOSE: To make the constitution of a compost agitator simple and compact by crushing rubbish by a disposer, and then agitating and mixing uniformly by a rotating paddle. CONSTITUTION: A cylinder 18 with a semicircular lower section 18a is set in a casing 12 on the lower section of a disposer 14 with a hopper 16. A rotating and agitating paddle 20 is installed rotatably on one side of the lower section of the disposer 14 in the cylinder 18. The rotating and agitating paddle 20 is provided with the required diameter and thickness, and composed of two disks 22, 22 retained and fixed face to face each other vertically and a rotating shaft 24. A right angle recessed section 26a is formed on a required site in one longitudinal direction with the center rotating shaft 24 as its center, and agitating bars 26, 26... are provided radially by the required angle on the inner side of the disks 22, 22 with the center shaft 24 as the center. Crushing is carried out by the disposer 14, and then agitation and mixing are carried out uniformly. |
