The composite yarn is produced by the steps of imparting a bridging under the compressed air pressure of 2.5-3.0 kg/cm2, and winding up the composite yarn at a thermosetting temperature of 220-230 deg.C and at a speed of 300-350 m/min, whereby obtaining a composite yarn showing an excellent cool feeling, repulsive elasticity and having no static electricity, revealing an intrinsic surface feeling of linen and acetate at the same time.
