PURPOSE: To make it possible to maintain specified diagnosing and treating conditions by measuring the light quantity of the reflected light or fluorescence of an optical treating and diagnosing device and adjusting the light quantity of a light source. CONSTITUTION: This optical treating and diagnosing device has an exciting light source 101 which generates exciting light for treatment and diagnosis, an optical image transmission path 103 which transmits the image from the lesion, an optical image separating means 106 which separates the image of the lesion and the reflected light of the exciting light and a reflected light position selecting means 109 which selects the reflected light of only the specific region. Further, the device has an actinometer 110 which measures the quantity of the reflected light selected by this reflected light position selecting means 109 and a light source control means 111 which controls the output of the exciting light source 101 so as to maintain always the specified quantity in accordance with the result of the measurement of this actinometer 110. |
