FIELD: production of 444 oxide of aluminum and powder of a oxide of aluminum. SUBSTANCE: powder of a oxide of aluminum, that has controlled size of particles, homogeneous form of particles and distribution of particles by size and, besides, low concentration of halogen, is produced by calcining at least one initial material chosen from modification of aluminum oxide and aluminum compounds in halogen-bearing atmosphere, that has in its composition gas - hydrogen halide, gas - halogen or mixture of gas - halogen and steam and has at least 0.1 vol % of one halogen-bearing gas, that is taken from group including gas - hydrogen halide and gas - halogen, with following removal of halogen from sintered material. Produced powder of a aluminum oxide has excellent packing properties and is packing homogeneously. EFFECT: method allows to produce a aluminum oxide powder with excellent packing properties. |
