FIELD: navigation locks. SUBSTANCE: navigation lock has lock chamber 1 with upstream end 2 and downstream end 3 and two longitudinal galleries 4 located in bottom 5 of chamber 1. Each gallery 4 is provided with upper paddle 8 and lower paddle 9 and is brought in communication with upper approach channel 11, water inlets 12 distributed over length of chamber 1 by means of inlet section 10; gallery 4 is brought in communication with lower approach channel 14 through discharge section 13. Chamber 1 is additionally brought in communication with each gallery by means of connecting water conduit made in bottom in form of aperture 15 located directly at wall of upstream end 2 and provided with quick-acting gate in form of plate (shutter) rotating about shaft which is located centrally relative to plate and is horizontally mounted in bearings.
