The invention relates to a mouse controller intended to be associated with a unit for visualising a cursor. This controller comprises: - a case (2); - a movable sphere (4) projecting out of the case (2) so as to be actuated by a user; - a support device (6) shaped so as to receive the said movable sphere (4), this support device (6) including at least three bearing surfaces (8) which are angularly offset and on which the said movable sphere (4) rests, and which include contact pieces (22) made of a material with low coefficient of friction, this controller being characterised in that the contact pieces (22) cooperate with the said sphere (4) through rolling friction.
