PURPOSE:To improve the sharpness, the graininess, the color reproducibility, the desilvering property and the sensitivity of the title material by incorporating a specified compd. in the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material contains at least one kind of compds. shown by formula I. In the formula, A is a group capable of cleaving a bond between the group A and a residual group except the group A, L is a group capable of cleaving a bond between the group L and the residual group except the group L, after cleaving the bond between the groups A and L, X is an org. residual group necessary for constituting a 5 or 6 membered nitrogen contg. heterocyclic ring, R is hydrogen atom, a substituting group or PUG group, PUG is a photographic useful group, (a) is 0 or 1. The additional amount of the compd. shown by formula I is preferably 1X10<-6>-1mol., further preferably 1X10<-3>-5X10<-1>mol. per 1mol. of silver contd. in the same layer or its adjacent layer of the photosensitive material. Thus, the sharpness, the graininess, the color reproducibility, the desilverization and the sensitivity of the photosensitive material are improved. |
