ELECTRIC ROLLING STOCK CONTROL DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide an electric rolling stock control device which can avoid a system-down in case of failure of only one mounted CVCF inverter. CONSTITUTION: A control part 7 comprises a VVVF control part 7b for generating a driving signal by which a VVVF inverter 5d outputs VVVF a.c. power and a CVCF control part 7c for generating a driving signal by which the VVVF inverter 5d outputs CVCF a.c. power, and normally it receives a driving signal from the VVVF control part 7b to deliver an output to the VVVF inverter 5d. It has a common part 7a for performing control so that the VVVF inverter 5d supplies the CVCF a.c. power to an electric rolling stock auxiliary circuit by receiving a driving signal from the CVCF control part 7c and sent the output to the VVVF inverter 5d when an auxiliary power converter 9 is in the unusual state.
