PURPOSE: To provide a compound electrode material for lead-acid battery, which can prevent the generation of distortion owing to the stress at the time of expanding and which has the sufficient acid-resistance so that it is not dissolved even in the case where this compound electrode material is dipped in the sulfuric acid as the electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: This compound electrode material for lead-acid battery has the laminated structure formed by laminating lead plates 2 at the predetermined thickness and a synthetic resin layer 4. The synthetic resin layer 4 and the lead plates 2 are adhered to each other with the adhesive agent obtained by combining the main agent, which is composed of polysulfide denaturated epoxy resin, and the hardening agent, which is composed of polysulfide denaturated epoxy resin adduct of the condensation reaction product of phenol, formaldehyde and diamine compound. |
