PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform color printing uniform in jet characteristics and high in resolving power and quality at a high speed by an ink jet printing head. SOLUTION: Orifice arrays 108Y, 108M are linearly arranged so as to expand at least in the lateral direction of a printing medium 114 to eject predetermined color inks. The ink manifolds 106Y, 106M fluidally connected to the related one of the orifice arrays 108Y, 108M are provided with a large number of ink manifolds storing one of the predetermined color inks and compliance walls 150Y, 150M which absorb mutual internal ejection cross talk inducing the pressure fluctuations of the ink in a large number of orifices simultaneously with the ejection of ink droplets. |
