PURPOSE: To provide a backing for lithographic printing form plate wherein a width to be selected of a material provided to an upper layer is wide, and an anchor layer bond strength of which is high is provided onto a base material. CONSTITUTION: In a backing composed of an anchor layer provided onto a surface of a base material and the base material, the anchor layer has a three dimensional crosslinked structure, and grade one amino group or its mineral acid salt exists at least by 0.5 milli-equivalent/g in total solids of the anchor layer. Therefore, a backing for lithographic printing form plate wherein a width to be selected of a material provided onto an upper layer is wide, and the anchor layer bond strength of which is high is provided onto the base material, can be obtained. Further, it can be suitably used for the lithographic printing form plate which is used in offset printing to which dampening water is used. |
