PURPOSE: To provide a secondary battery having the excellent charging/ discharging characteristic by using the metal oxide thin film obtained by oxidizing metal such as V, Nb, W, Mo, which is sufficiently lithiumized, as the negative electrode active material. CONSTITUTION: The secondary battery, which includes non-aqueous electrolyte solution or solid electrolyte, is formed on a metal substrate, a silicone substrate or macro molecular substrate, and as the negative electrode active material, a vanadium pentoxide thin film, which is previously lithiumized, a niobium pentoxide thin film, a tungsten trioxides thin film or a molybdenum trioxides thin film is used, and as the positive electrode active material, a vanadium pentoxide thin film, a niobium pentoxide thin film, a LiCoO2 thin film, a LiNiO2 thin film, a LiMn2 O4 thin film, a Lix MnO4 thin film (0.3<x<0.6) or a TiS2 thin film, which is formed on the metal substrate, the silicone substrate, or the macro molecular substrate, is used. The secondary battery, which has the excellent cycle characteristic at a larger charging/discharging capacity and of which thickness is reduced and which can be miniaturized, is thereby obtained. |
