PURPOSE: To previously prevent the execution of useless copying, facsimile transmission, etc., owing to user's misoperation. CONSTITUTION: A picture input part 101 reads out an original or the like, a picture processing part 103 applies various processing to picture data read out of the original or the like and a picture output part 104 executes copying operation or facsimile transmitting operation based on the processed picture data. The picture data inputted by a picture input part 101 are stored in a picture storing part 102, the existence of picture information in the picture data is detected by a picture discriminating part 105 and copying operation or facsimile transmitting operation is determined based on the discriminated result of the discriminating part 105. |
