PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reform a cassette filter comprising a shape-stable filter pack and a case which is composed of flat plates and enclose the filter pack dust- proofingly and both end parts of which are opened to be produced simply. SOLUTION: Plates 1 are bonded together by an adhesive layer 3 and bonded to a filter pack 2 so that the spatial arrangement of the plates 1 is fixed by the filter pack. A case end part is provided with a supporting flange 4, and a dust-proofing bond is obtained also between it and frame structure into which a cassette filter is to be inserted.
