PURPOSE: To enable the utensil to be applicable for a liquid with the nature of not soaking in a fiber by writing or applying a housed liquid such as an ink or the like through rotation of either one of roller and ball or both of them, or through its rotation and shift. CONSTITUTION: A tip holder 2 includes a roller 4 and a folding bore 6 for each ball 5 formed therein, and the roller 4 and each ball 5 are retained by an opening periphery 7 made in a tapered manner. The ball is prevented from coming into the inner part of the holder bore 6 through a roller seat 8 and a ball seat 9 formed on the holding bore 6. Each ball seat 9 has a first ink passage 10 and a second ink passage 11 communicated thereto, and further a roller channel 12 and a ball channel 13 are bored respectively for ensuring flow of ink 15 in a shaft cylinder 14 as the roller 4 and each ball 5 are put on each roller seat 8 and ball seat 9. The roller 4 and ball 5 are made equal in their outer diameter, and a recession 3 is formed into such a configuration and depth that the ball 5 is set only half in the roller 4. |
