PURPOSE: To carry out lighting automatically for a certain predetermined period in response to an earthquake and electric power failure, fulfilliling the function of an electric torch wherein the detection of the earthquake showing a quake of an certain level and over is carried out by a sensor or an electric power failure monitoring circuit, allowing an emergency lamp to be turned on for a predetermined period, blinked for a few minute, and at last turned off. CONSTITUTION: In order to use a quake sensing light, a metal hook 15 attached to a back lid 3 is hooked over a fixed metal fixture 16 installed on a wall surface etc., of a room 3 or the light is placed horizontally on a sideboard etc., and then an adaptor 9 is pluged in and connected to a commercial powersource outlet. When a sensor 11 for detecting an earthquake showing a quake of an certain level and over, an emergency light (L1 ) turns on, and at the same time, a timer circuit 13 is functioned. However, the circuit 13 automatically turns off the emergency lamp (L1 ) after a certain predetermined time, allowing the emergency light (L1 ) to be blinked by a blisting circuit 14 for a few minuits preceeding the turning off of the circuit 14. |
