PURPOSE:To compose a picture without cutting, folding, etc., by erasing the unnecessary part of the 1st original image before transferring it to copy paper, and by transferring the unnecessary part of the 2nd original image to the blank part formed on the copy paper by the erasure. CONSTITUTION:When multiple transfer is performed repeatedly as many times as original to be mixed, a flying spot emitted from laser source 24 through the rotation of polygon mirror 25 is projected on a latent image on photoreceptor drum 1 so as to erase latent images of original images at parts other than part S1 of the 1st original and S2 of the 2nd original. With regard to deviations X and Y of picture part S2 of the 2nd original from blank part S1 thus formed on copy paper, the position of copy paper P is moved to the latent image position on photoreceptor drum 1 before the exposure scanning start of the 2nd original for positioning. Next, picture S2 is transferred to blank part S1 by exposing and scanning the 2nd original, thereby obtaining a composite picture. |
