<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a tape-like recording medium from slacking during its loading operation and to shorten the time required for the loading operation by evading interference between a tape guide member and a rotary drum. CONSTITUTION: While a slide chassis 2 mounted with a cassette 7 is moved toward the rotary drum 3 on a main chassis 1, a tape 8 is drawn out of an opening part 7a of the cassette 7 and is loaded by the tape guide members 10 and 11. The tape guide member 10 to be given interference in its moving course by the rotary drum 3 at the time of starting simultaneous movement of the slide chassis 2 and the tape guide members 10 and 11 is moved in advance to a withdrawal position outside the opening part 7a of the cassette 7 before starting moving operation of the slide chassis 2. Afterward, the tape guide members 10 and 11 and the slide chassis 2 are moved simultaneously.</p> |
