The present invention relates to a reclosing device for a container comprising a body (1), a bottom (2) and a lid (4) on which may be formed an opening (6) whose size is smaller than the size of the said lid (4), by means of a frangible obturator (5) which is known per se and which can be pushed inside the can by the lever effect of a pulling tongue (7), held in the centre and above the said lid (4) by a rivet (7a), the said device being constituted by a case (8) mounted in a detachable manner on or around the said pulling tongue (7), before or after opening the can, in order to constitute a tab which moves in a pivoting manner around the said rivet (7a), characterised, on the one hand, in that the said case (8) clips onto the said pulling tongue (7) and, on the other hand, in that the outer peripheral edges of the said case (8) are shaped such that they clip around the peripheral crimping rim (12) of the lid (4) on the body (1) of the container, this rim serving as an outer rail during the circular movements of the case.
