PURPOSE:To decrease the size of a motor driven pump and to increase the lifetime of the capacitor of the pump by providing an openable resin container at the motor side for containing a terminal board and the capacitor and disposing the capacitor under the motor. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin box 4 having an openable cover 7 is provided at the side of a motor 2, and is secured to the frame of the motor 2 with mounting bracket 5. The lower part of the box 4 is swelled, and a capacitor containing section 36 is formed to contain a capacitor 35, a terminal board and relays are contained in the other section, and necessary winding is performed in the box 4. In this manner, the number of parts can be reduced, the size of the overall pump can be decreased, and since the capacitor 35 is disposed under the motor 2 and is not adversely affected by the thermal influence of the motor 2, the lifetime of the condenser 35 can be increased. |
