The Tesla transformer (2) and spark gap (3) are mounted in the same housing (1) as the test rod.S The spark gap housing has a threaded hole (7) on its side facing away from the transformer (2) which carries a cylinder (8) carrying one pole (5), the spark gap (3). A bolt (9) pushed into the cylinder (8) is connected to a drive shaft (12) with an angle connection to an external shaft (14).
