<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the power consumption of the semiconductor integrated circuit concerning system clock signals. CONSTITUTION: A system clock signalϕS at a fixed frequency formed based on the output of an oscillator 12 is commonly supplied to peripheral function blocks and a system clock signalϕB, whose frequency is made variable and set lower than that of this clock signalϕS, formed based on the' output of the oscillator 12 is formed by a clock control circuit 13 and supplied to a bus master module such as a CPU 1. A data bus PDP of the function block, to which the clock signalϕS is supplied, is disconnected from a data bus IDB of the function block to which the clock signalϕB is supplied.</p> |
