<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve and intensify the sound level and regeneration of a bass of a stringed musical instrument without any need to enlarge a resonance body by inserting at least one intermediate resonance board in the resonance body in such a state as inclined toward a resonance cover. SOLUTION: An intermediate resonance board 19 is inserted in a resonance body 3 in such a state as inclined toward a rear board 7 and a resonance cover 5. This resonance board 19 covers only a part of a section across a lateral board ring 9. The lateral ring board 9 expands into the internal space of the resonance body 3 and divides the space into two spaces 21 and 23 connected to each other. In this case, the resonance cover 5 is vibrated by use of the known way via a bridge 15 while a string 13 is being plucked or rubbed with a bow, thereby directly emitting a high level of sound externally by the ordinary method and by the same sound quality. The frequency of a low level of sound, on the other hand, is emitted to the inside of the resonance body 3 and first intensified via the upper space 21. Then, the frequency enters the lower space 23 via a connected position 27 toward an arrow P direction, or is externally emitted via a sound hole 17 at the end of the lower space 23.</p> |
