PURPOSE: To smoothly take over the resources into the different environment spaces without increasing the operating cost of a computer. CONSTITUTION: The different environmental spaces including an actual environment space 2 and a test environment space 3 are prepared for the same computer 1. A communication management part 7 connects a terminal equipment 8 to an environment space to be used. Then the work programs 5 and 6 of both environemntal spaces have accesses in the logical resource names to the using resources, and a resource management part 4 converts the logical resource names into the physical ones. When an optional work processing is carried out in the space 3, for example, and then the resources are taken over by the space 2, the physical resource name of the part 4 that is corresponding to the logical resource name of the space 2 is changed into the name of the preceding executed resource. As a result, the corresponding resources are continuously shifted into the space 2 without carrying out such new processing as a second IPL, etc., that are carried out in a conventional case. Furthermore, the parallel operations can be carried out between the different environment spaces. |
