<p>PURPOSE: To provide a push and contact running control method in which respective carriages are brought into close contact so as to be run in a front packed state in such a way that they are advanced while a braking operation is being applied by a method wherein a set gradually decreased driving force according to a present position is accessed from a storage circuit, an induction motor is actuated according to the driving force and succeeding carriages are brought into push contact with front carriages so as to be driven. CONSTITUTION: A pulse generator (a carriage-position detection means) 24 measures present positions of carriages 60 within a push and contact running section 45, and a control circuit 31 controls the driving force of an induction motor 21. Then, it is set in such a way that the driving force of carriages 60 which are running in driving- force gradually decreased sections 54 on the downstream side are decreased from that in a driving-force gradually decreased sections 54 on the upstream side. As a result, succeeding carriages 60 are controlled so as to be run at higher speed than the preceding carriages 60, and an antiphase voltage is applied to the induction motor 21. As a result, the respective carriages 60 are advanced while a braking operation is being applied, the carriages are brought into close contact in a front packed state, and an operator can be transferred safely between the carriages.</p> |
