PURPOSE: To provide a power supply in which reduction in size and weight are achieved along with standardization by decreasing the number of cables with plug to only one and making possible to use a plug having shape regulated by EIAJ standard. CONSTITUTION: A switching circuit section 31 functions to generate constant DC output voltage and current which are switched to be fed to an external machine. In such power supply, the operating state of the machine is self-decided by monitoring the voltage at the output terminal of the switching circuit section 31. The power supply comprises means (34, 9) for generating the switching control signal of constant voltage and current outputs, and a section 35 for controlling the switching of each output based on the conversion control and switching control signals of constant voltage and current outputs for the switching circuit section 31. |
