The bicycle has a frame (1) made in two separable parts comprising a guide (3) which slides into a tube (2) between the seat tube (9) and the head tube (4). The guide is shaped to resist rotation or turn through a limited angle. The guide can be multi-sided, rectangular or oval in cross-section. The guide can slide into at least two positions and is lockable in the in-use position. The guide slides telescopically into the tube to shorten the length of the frame for transport. By sliding the two parts away from one another the frame can be lengthened for use to suit the size of the rider. US#E/
