Radio information and warning apparatus

The radio information and warning apparatus includes a sound generator which produces an emergency signal, with a loudspeaker and a microphone that are part of a control unit which also includes a microcomputer. The control unit is connected to a radio telephone, e.g. a portable telephone, with an external aerial connection. This equipment is mounted in a housing with a control panel and a mast (9.1). Power is supplied by a solar panel (9), a battery (10) and regulator (11), or alternatively, the mains supply (19). The control unit is equipped with illuminating diodes (17) and several switches (15.1 ...) for signalling various alarm or emergency conditions.
