DISCHARGE DEVICE FOR SUCTION TRANSPORT

PURPOSE:To prevent abrasion of a discharge valve caused by powder seal effects by forming a combination of plural powder seal layers on a valve disposed midway in a transport path. CONSTITUTION:Powder A supplied from a receiver tank 3 into an inner cylinder 4 forms the first seal layer H1 having a height substantially equal to the height from the base of a reservoir 6 in the inner cylinder 4 to the upper surface of an outer bath 7. The powder in the inner cylinder 4 is discharged from the lower end portion, and further conveyed upward by a screw 5 along the inside peripheral surface of a wall of the reservoir 6. The powder which has reached the upper end of the reservoir 6 and overflowed is collected in an outer bath 7 to form the second seal layer H2 of the same hight as that of the outer bath 7. The first seal layer H1 and the second seal layer H2 are summed up to form a set of seal layers H between a discharge port of the receiver tank 3 and a rotary valve 2.
