DRUG FOR TREATING IMMUNITY-RELATED DISEASES AND METHOD OF SEARCHING FOR THE SAME

A method of searching for chemicals capable of suppressing the production of cytokines in T cells, which closely relate to the establishment of immunity-related diseases, at the gene transcription level so as to enable the cure of these diseases through the clinical application of this chemical; and a drug for treating immunity-related diseases which comprises as the active ingredient a macrolide antibiotic capable of suppressing the production of at least one cytokine in human T cells.
