<p>The device has a UV lamp (11) built into a housing (6) and a receptacle for the blood or tissue extract to be illuminated which can be placed in the radiation region of the lamp and rotated within the radiation region by a rotary drive (7-9). The receptacle is a cylindrical cuvette (1) transparent to the UV region of the electromagnetic spectrum, pref. of quartz glass. At one end the cuvette has a stopper (2) with an opening for insertion of an injector cone (5a). At the other end the cuvette has a stopper (3) with a central bore and at least one bacteria filter (4) for the air inlet and outlet. The illumination device contains devices for holding the cuvette and rotating it in the radiation region of the UV lamp.</p> |
