<p>An installation for machining panels, which are subsequently used for making transport conveyors, has a roller conveyor (1) to receive the panels which may be made of plywood, chipboard or plastic. The panels are delivered, one at a time, by means of a hydraulic lift (2) and a slider (3) to a second conveyor (4) which delivers the panels to the work station (5). A third conveyor delivers the panels to the transfer station (10) which transfers the panels to the third and fourth work stations (12,13). The panels move through each work station at the maximum possible speed at which the machining operation can be carried ut at the work station with the slowest operating speed. The conveyors operated intermittently so that they are synchronised with the speed of the machining operations.</p> |
