Support for a beverage container

A holder for a drinks container has an opening (48) in which the container is inserted. The holder is able to pivot and is connected to a slide (16), such that when the slide is extended from a rest position to the holding position, it pivots into horizontal position. A support (18) has a stop surface for the drinks container which is also able to pivot against the slide, and is linked to the holder (17) such that when the holder pivots into a horizontal position, the support and stop pivot downwards below the holder opening.
