发明名称 METHOD FOR CONTINUOUSLY CASTING STEEL
摘要 PURPOSE: To extremely reduce the entrapment of inclusion and gas bubble, etc., caused by molten steel spouted flow by arranging an AC superconducting magnet to the back surface of a mold, impressing shifting magnetic field and executing the flowing control of molten steel. CONSTITUTION: The molten steel M is poured into the mold 2 from an immersion nozzle 3. The AC superconducting magnet 1 is arranged to the back surface of the mold 2 to execute the flowing control of molten steel M. Since the electro-magnet is made to use the superconducting magnet 1, the intensity of the magnetic field can drastically be improved. The electromagnetic force F generated by impressing the shifting magnetic field is F=σ.B<2> .τ.f, and wherein,σis electric conductivity of the molten steel, B is magnetic flux density,τis the pitch of poles and (f) is the frequency of advancing magnetic field. When the magnetic flux density B becomes 10 times, the electro-magnetic force F becomes 100 times. Since the damping of the magnetic field is developed through the mold 2, the frequency (f) of an electric source is made to be 1-10Hz. The intensive electromagnetic force F can be acted to the spouted flow of the molten steel M from the immersion nozzle 3. A cast slab having good quality can stably be supplied.
